YEARLY Favorites

Better late then never, right? In my defense...Aubrey is slightly more mobile then when I started this blog. My planner has lists of blog posts but by the time she goes to bed..my brain is FRIED!That being said...Im a bit more organized now (Thank you Erin Condren and all of your planner amazingness....) so blog posts will be much more frequent fingers crossed.

Also apologies in advance. The font in this post is WHACK and you basically need super sonic eyesight to read the descriptions but I promise it is being worked on!
Wow. 2015 has gone by in an absolute flash. How cliche.Actually, scratch that. The 2nd half of 2015 went by in a flash. Being pregnant for the 1st half felt like time could not move fast enough. Between nesting, preparing for my first child and in general just being the ultimate consumer that I am - I compiled a list of my yearly favorite things! But first let me provide a small disclaimer. I have A LOT of favorites. All for different reasons but none the less I decided to only talk about the things that I have not been able to function without during the past year. With that being said...lets jump right in!

Healthy Sexy Hair leave in conditionerMy hair has ALWAYS been extremely thick and up until this past year I have always used the children's Loreal detangler. Yes, Im serious! That was until my hairdresser introduced me to this little gem and my post shower hair care routine has done a complete 180! Not only is it super quick to brush out but it leaves my hair feeling soft, shiny and most importantly healthy.

Macadamia Deep Repair MasqueIve always taken very good care of my hair. Even going Brown to black to blonde over the past years - it has always stayed in amazing condition. I owe that most in part to only washing my hair 2-3 times a week but I have also added this into my routine and it has truly made my hair feel luxurious and stronger than it ever has. I apply it mainly to the bottom half of my hair and rinse thoroughly. I promise - this will be a purchase you will not regret! And I always tend to find it cheaper on Target.com

Wet BrushThis find was LIFE CHANGING. It is the perfect straight-out-of-the-shower brush. It doesn't yank and pull at your hair and it feels amazing. I have one in almost every color but mainly because I use them during my blow dry routine (which is a big no no) so they don't hold up as long as they normally should.

Scunii thick hair tiesWhy, hello! Ive been searching for these babies my whole life! A hair tie that actually holds my thick mane for hours! I feel like this item really goes without description and Ill save you all my incessant babbling on why I can't live without it because lets be real, I can be a bit dramatic at times :)

Neutrogena hydrating face wipesThese. Not only do they feel amazingly fresh taking off my makeup at the end of the day...it feels like its giving me a fresh mini facial in the process. My face has never felt more clean after using any type of makeup remover!

Mario Badescu special cucumber lotionThis little guy takes off ANYTHING that wasn't removed my makeup remover. I squirt a small amount onto a cotton round and apply it like a toner. You will feel SO refreshed after trying this!

First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair creamThis is my GO TO! I wish it came in smaller packaging because I would take it with me everywhere. When I got pregnant I got REALLY dry skin. Like mummy-in-the-middle-of-the-desert dry skin. Yes, I am that dramatic. Then this little gem entered my life. My favorite way to use this is right before I go to bed I apply it to every dry spot on my body. Then I lather my feet in it and put on a pair of comfy socks and in the morning my feet feel like a newborn baby!

Loreal Youth Code texture perfector day/night creamBeing the ultimate consumer I am, I have tried just about every skin care item on the market. High end to the up and up Target brand. THIS is the best moisturizer I have ever tried! And it definitely doesn't break the bank

OCC top coat

I used to get my nails done all the time. Besides wasting the money, I can't commit to a nail color for more than 1 week. I usually touch up during the week then switch it up every Sunday night. This is by far the best top coat I have found. Now it does chip just like any other non gel top coat but my favorite thing is that it basically peels the color and top coat off so I use barely any acetone nail polish remover.

Stila KITTEN eyeshadow

Makeup has definitely taken a backseat my first 6 months of motherhood. Lets be honest, this eyeshadow has pretty much taken me from looking like the walking dead to somewhat presentable. Most days I will pack this on my eyelids..add some mascara and call it a day!

Tarte lights, camera lashes Mascara

I have ZERO volume/curl to my eyelashes. This is hands down the absolute best mascara I have ever used. The best part about it..it works QUICKLY. You don't have to do 5000 coats for it to magically form a curl. It really does cling on to any eyelash and makes them look amazing.Hope you have enjoyed this small list of favorites. Let me know if any of them work for you!

xoxo, Ash
