June 1st already....I can taste Christmas! Right about now is when I start collecting gifts here and there because lets face it...My name is Ashley and I have a shopping problem. Nonetheless, I am always prepared for the season and come December I can relax and enjoy the holidays!
A few new things made its way into our daily routine this month. Aubrey is FULLY mobile now so our lives have moved on over into the fast lane. Makeup/hair and overall appearance has definitely taken a backseat so a couple of beauty items have been absolute lifesavers...
THIS! I am absolutely obsessed. Rewind to last year. When I became pregnant I noticed my skin changing. Awful dark spots that I could not get rid of - currently in the process of trying different treatments - reviews to follow! I am currently at the point where I needed wanted a more full coverage foundation that was lightweight & didn't give the "cake face" effect. This is all of the above! One swipe across the T zone, blended out with a stippling brush or beauty blender & Im done! I constantly get compliments on how flawless my foundation looks and it really boosts by confidence during all of my recent pigmentation troubles.
I have never been a fan of eyelash curlers. It hurts, its awkward and honestly I didn't really know how to use them effectively. After watching a youtube makeup tutorial I was convinced I needed one of these in my life and I have never looked back! A few quick pumps with this and a coat of my favorite mascara and I am good to go.
Holy moly. So let me start by saying I am in no way affiliated or know much at all about this company. A friend had these and since I was in a wedding at the end of the month I gave it a shot the night before. It REALLY does work! I was instructed (off label of course) to wear it over night and the next day I definitely noticed a difference. It felt amazing!
I have always used either Mac makeup wipes, Neutrogena Hydrating face wipes or the Kirkland wipes. Although they got the job done I never liked the way my face felt after using them and I also felt like I was going through them like crazy. A friend recommended this and WOW! It leaves my face feeling completely refreshed. I will note...it is important to vigorously shake the bottle first and then apply to a cotton round. I didn't shake it at first and it left my skin very oily.
Sweet baby jesus. A healthy pasta I actually LOVE! Win win right? Enough said.
Aubrey has SUPER sensitive skin. This month I think we have found a keeper. This stuff smells AMAZING and leaves her skin silky smooth.
To be clear I actually won this in an Instagram giveaway! SO amazing, right? Well this trumps any diaper bag I purchased because holy moly there are SO many little pockets which makes it great for an over packer like myself.
This little guy has proven to be worth every penny! Anytime I need to get some cleaning done, Laundry, Prep for dinner or any other daily task it proves to be a little difficult trying to also entertain a very- Im just gonna say it - NEEDY 10 month old. This really helps get her attention and also entertains her all while still being interactive. We blast a little Disney pandora or My Girl and we have ourselves a little sing a long dance party and she absolutely loves it!
I would love to hear everyone else's favorite things! Wether it is for babies, beauty or daily life I am always looking to try new things & switch my routine up!
